Indiana Kitchen Company, a residential kitchen and bath design/remodeling company, is looking to hire an energetic, motivated and organized kitchen and bath designer to work in a creative, fast paced environment.

This is a full-time, salaried position working in the Indiana Kitchen Company showroom from the hours of 10:00-5:00 and occasional evening/weekends by appointment only.

Job Requirements

• Experience designing custom cabinetry projects
• Strong interior design background
• Good customer service and communication skills

• Be able to handle multiple projects at one time
• Organized and detail oriented
• Effectively update and communicate with customers through use project management software
• Understand how to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Proficient in Office 365 and other computer programs as needed
• Bachelors Degree in Interior Design

Job Responsibilities

• Meet w/customers (homeowners and contractors) to discuss project scope
• Design and estimate cabinet, countertops, and other fixtures for project estimator
• Present design layouts/proposals and selections to customers
• Preparing presentation boards and completing project specification forms
• Coordinating job details with project manager
• Ordering materials for new construction and remodeling projects
• Designer will be given new leads but would be helpful if designer have customer referral base w/past customers and/or contractors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
